Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section eight of an act entitled an act to provide a new charter for the town of Parksley, in the county of Accomac, and to repeal an act entitled an act to incorporate and provide a charter for the town of Parksley, Virginia, approved March twelfth, nineteen hundred and four, approved March twentieth, nineteen hundred and sixteen, be amended and re-enacted to read as follows:

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the sale heretofore made by the board of trustees of Margaret Academy

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the council of Cape Charles [City]
be, and they are hereby, authorized to borrow for said corporation, for the purpose of erecting or contributing to the erection of an academy of learning in said town, a sum of money not exceeding one thousand dollars, by the issue and sale of the bonds of the said corporation.
