CHAP. 175.--An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of chapter 362 of the acts of assembly of 1916, approved March 20, 1916, which was an act to provide a new charter for the town of Parksley, as amended by an act approved February 18, 1924.

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section eight of chapter three hundred and sixty-two of the acts of assembly of nineteen hundred and sixteen, as amended by an act approved February eighteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

CHAP. 118.--An ACT to amend the charter of the town of Eastville, Northampton county, Virginia, approved on the 6th day of February, 1896

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section three (3) of an act to provide a charter incorporating the town of Eastville, Northampton county, Virginia, approved February sixth, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, be amended and re-enacted to read as follows:

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an act approved April second, nineteen hundred and two, entitled "an act to authorize the Board of Fisheries to declare certain land within the limits of the Baylor survey, on the eastern or ocean side of Accomac county, to be barren area and open for planting oysters thereon, and to authorize the assignment of the same for planting purposes," be, and the same is hereby, repealed.

CHAP. 219.--AN ACT to prevent the granting of unappropriated marsh or meadow lands on the eastern shore of Virginia.

Approved February 24,1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all unappropriated marsh or meadow lands lying on the eastern shore of Virginia, which have remained ungranted, and which have been used as a common by the people of this state, shall continue as such common, shall remain ungranted, and no land warrant located upon the same. That any of the people of this state may fish, fowl, or hunt on any such marsh or meadow lands.
