CHAP. 400.--An ACT to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Virginia

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That John W. Gillet, Upshur B. Quinby, Frank M. Boggs,
John D. Parsons, James A. Hall, Henry Hall, Daniel J. Whealton, Joseph T. Kenney, Nehemiah W. Nock, George W. Glenn, Leonard H. Ames, Joseph P. Boggs, and Luther N. Boggs, of the county of Accomac, and William P.
and Edward G. Tankard, of the county of Northampton

CHAP. 345.--An ACT to authorize the town of Onancock, in the county of Accomac, Virginia, to borrow money.

Approved March 16, 1918.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the mayor and council of the town of Onancock, be, and they are hereby, authorized and empowered to borrow for said corporation and for school purposes, a sum of money not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars by the issue and sale of the bonds of said corporation as hereinafter provided.

CHAP. 303.--An ACT to authorize Northampton county to borrow money and issue bonds for a sum not exceeding $150,000 for the purpose of building public roads in the said county.

Approved March 14, 1912.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board of supervisors of Northampton county be, and they are hereby, authorized to borrow, from time to time, as maybe necessary, money not exceeding the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) with which to establish and construct improved and permanent highways in the said county.

CHAP. 916.--An ACT to make the night-watchman of Chincoteague island, Acco-mac county, a conservator of the peace on said island.

Whereas the business men of Chincoteague Island, in the county of Accomac, have selected and paid a watchman to protect their interests against fire, robbery and disorderly conduct: now, therefore,

Whereas, pursuant to an order of the circuit court of the county of Accomac, entered on the ninth day of October, nineteen hundred and nineteen, an election was held on the fourth day of November, nineteen hundred and nineteen, authorizing the school board of Islands district, number one, of the said county, to issue forty thousand ($40 000) dollars worth of bonds for the purpose of providing a school building for said school district, and furnishing the same; and,
