CHAP. 84.--An ACT to provide for the appointment of a commission to investigate and survey the sea food industry of Virginia, and to prescribe the powers and duties of the said commission; also to make certain appropriations to carry this act into effect.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That there shall be a commission to investigate and survey the sea food industry in this State, especially with reference to crabs, fish and oysters, which commission shall be appointed as hereinafter prescribed, and shall have the powers and duties hereinafter specified.

CHAP.--An ACT to provide for working the roads in Northampton county.

Approved March 2,1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That it shall be the duty of the judge of the county court of
Northampton county, at the April term, eighteen hundred
and ninety-two, and annually thereafter at the March term of said court, to appoint one
superintendent of roads for each magisterial district in the said county, whose application for such appointment shall be first endorsed by at

CHAP. 11.--An ACT to regulate the hunting or trapping of muskrats in the county of Accomac.

Approved December 20, 1897.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be unlawful for any one to capture, trap, or kill muskrats in the county of Accomac between the fifteenth day of March and the first day of January of each year.

2. Any person violating this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and fined not exceeding five dollars for each offence.

CHAP. 804.--An ACT to provide for the tax assessment on railroads by districts in the counties of Accomac and Northampton.

Approved March 8, 1894

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be lawful for the counties of Accomac and Northampton, in imposing its district, school and road tax, to impose the same upon any of the property of any railroad company according to the rate of taxation in the several districts in which such railway or railways is located.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
