The inquest over the dead body of Thos. P. Lilliston, dec'd, taken before Geo. T. Scarburgh, J. P. and acting Coroner, was returned to the Court and filed.

A deed of release from John W. Gillett, trustee, and J. T. Finney & Bros. to Joseph S. Waterfield, was ordered to be recorded, except as to Charles P. Finney who is yet to sign it.

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the following rules and regulations and standards are hereby established for the sanitation of slaughter houses, abattoirs, packing houses, sausage factories, rendering plants or other places where animals are slaughtered for sale for human food or where animal carcasses, or parts thereof, are prepared for human food.
