June, 1913

The month of June was very good for all farming purposes, plenty of sunshine and plenty of rain. The highest temperature was 94 on the 16th and 21st, lowest 49 on the 10th, mean 72.2 slightly below the average. Rainfall amounted to 5.46 inches. There were 9 days with rain, 13 clear and 17 more or less cloudy.

Weather Report

January, 1913

The month of January, 1913 will long be remembered for its remarkable mildness. There were four cold days or stormy ones. Most of it being warm and open. No snow fell during the month and there was frost on only a few nights. Violets were in bloom the whole month and other spring flowers also came out. A few truckers even ventured planting some Irish potatoes.
