The grand jury on yesterday found a true bill against Holstein for criminal assault upon Mrs. Pennewell of this place. We learn the Governor will be asked to offer a reward for his arrest.

The pungy Northampton, in Cherrystone Creek with four men on board, was blown out into the bay Saturday night, since which time nothing has been heard from her.

Moral -- Firearms

Mr. Abner J. Nottingham, an employee at Jones' barrel factory, Parksley, was the victim of an "unloaded pistol" last week. He received a ball in thigh from same in hands of a friend who thought it was unloaded. The wound inflicted fortunately was not a dangerous one.
