October, 1912

The weather for October 1912 was unusually mild and open. There were 23 clear days, 5 partly cloudy and only 3 cloudy. The rainfall was very light indeed. Only 1.05 inches. The mean average temperature was 62.06, the highest being 68 and lowest 37. There was frost on these dates, the 1st, 17th and 28th, but no killing frost occurred.

November, 1913

The month of November, 1913, was unusually cold the first half and genuine Indian summer for the latter half. There were killing frost and ice on the 3d. and 6th. Highest of thermometer for month 76, lowest 30. Mean average 51.48 about an average. Rainfall 1.48 inches. There was rain on 8 days, 19 clear. The evening skies were unusually luminant.
