Deed of Sale of "Davis Farm" to Upshur B. Quinby

This deed describes Upshur B. Quinby's purchase of the Davis Farm in Upshur's Neck, Accomack County, at auction in 1888. The farm is composed of two lots and includes 17 acres of marshland. The first lot, 108.17 acres, Quinby purchased for $1200; the second, 103.61 acres, for $1470. Quinby paid $133.50 in cash and executed three bonds of $845.50 each. The deed is dated November 17, 1888.
