Eastville, Va., February 25 -- Mr. William M. Kellam, of Cape Charles, this evening shot himself with fatal effect and died almost instantly. Ill health of long standing seems to have been the cause of the tragedy. He was in the room of his father, at the home of Dr. B. C. Kellam, his brother, when the deed was committed, and a pistol shot wound in the temple told the story of a sad fate. Mr. Kellam was a young man of about 28 years of age, the son of Mr. John P. C. Kellam, and made his home here for some years. The interment will be in Christ Church yard here tomorrow.
