A fishing party, consisting of several young ladies and gentlemen visiting Cobb's Island, went out on Thursday morning for the purpose of fishing for sharks. They had only been out for half an hour when the line of one of the ladies, Mrs. John G. Wilson of Smithfield, Va., began tightening, and much to her surprise, she brought in a large shark weighing upwards of 350 pounds and about 10 feet long.
