The Onancock Poisoning Case Postponed.

Moral -- Murder

ONANCOCK, Va., February 25. -- The case of Mrs. Virginia Taylor, alleged to have poisoned her husband, Wm. J. Taylor, on the night of December 26th, 1888, by administering strychnine to him was called at 12:30 this morning. The court room was packed with spectators. The prisoner plead not guilty. After the jury had been empannelled the court took a recess of an hour and a half.

After resuming business at 3:30 p. m. Commonwealth's Attorney James W. Fletcher made a motion to continue the case until the March term, as an important witness could not attend.

The motion was granted.

The prisoner was very nervous throughout the day.
