Mr. Wm. Claflin, agent of The Shenandoah Valley Hedge and Wire Fence Company, was in our town on Thursday, and will soon commence a canvass of the county in the interest of the firm he represents. Craddockville.

The cow drovers have been in our midst of late, and the prices offered for calves by them were so tempting that hardly one has been left.

Game of all kinds is now abundant with us, and many of our young sportsmen are in daily pursuit of it, but little of it is bagged by them. One of them shot 27 times one day this week and only killed two birds.
