Notwithstanding the heavy shipments of potatoes that have been made daily since July, we learn that the crop is as yet but little more than half marketed.

The steamer Accomack, which has been plying between Chincoteague Island and Powellton, connecting with the railroad at Franklin City has been withdrawn. The steamer was too large for Chincoteague bay and did not prove profitable.
