ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, March Term, 1902.

The last will and testament of William T. Gardner was proved and John S. Parsons qualified as his executor.

The last will and testament of Esther J. S. Byrd was admitted to probate.

The last will and testament of Delilah Taylor was partly proved by one of the witnesses thereto.

George W. Glenn qualified as notary public for county of Accomac.

The sheriff made report to the court the number of prisoners in jail, their offenses, sentences, &c.

Letters of administration were granted to William L. Belote on the estate of William H. Guy, deceased.

Horace Wiltbank qualified as notary public for county of Accomac.

Ex parte: Petition of William J. Lewis and others for a public road. Summons to proprietors and tenants to show cause, if any they can, why road should not be opened and established.

Ex parte: Petition of Geo. R. Justice and others for a public bridge and alteration of road. Order directing county treasurer to pay expenses of building bridge and altering road.

John H. Harmanson was substituted as trustee under will of Margaret Arbuckle, in place of late trustee, Charles H. Harmanson, deceased.

Ex parte: The petition of Isaac G. Coffin's late executor. Order for withdrawal of funds from bank, payment of costs and balance to Theodore Purnell.

Letters of administration were granted to L. Floyd Nock on estate of Sabra Parker, deceased.

The last will and testament of Elisha T. Bradshaw was proved and L. Floyd Nock qualified as administrator with will annexed.

Ex parte: Petition of Lloyd M. Smith and others for a drain. Commissioners were appointed to view route, lay out ditches, assess damages, &c.

The estate of Esther A. Evans was committed to Lee B. Kellam, sheriff, for administration.

The following fiduciary accounts were confirmed and ordered to be recorded: Audits of estates of James H. Harmon, George W. Mason, William T. Tull, Elizabeth A. Fletcher, James H. Fletcher Sr., William Franklin Evans, William Young and Samuel Baker; orphan accounts of Charles T., George M., Cleveland C. and Arthur B. West, Harold and Effie Phillips, Maggie and John T. Wright, L. Marion, Harry V. and Jos. A. baker, John and Walter Belote, Jos. Royall Broadwater and James S. Fox; trust accounts of Severn Wm. Gaskins and wife; account of committee of David Wharton Brodwater, a person of unsound mind; guardian account of Rebecca Truitt nee Gardner.

Order entered that Walter G. Bates be granted a license for the nominal tax of one cent to distribute and sell religious books, pamphlets or periodicals in District No. 2 of Accomac County.
