Letter from N.S. Albertson to U.B. Quinby, 20 January 1883

N.S. Albertson, the bookkeeper of J.L. Chadwick, wrote from New York on behalf of N.J.W. LeCato in order to inform Quinby that he had forwarded Quinby's letter to LeCato, who had recently left for the South. Albertson included in his correspondence with Quinby a copy of the letter he sent to LeCato. Albertson wrote that John Emmons, who had just recieved a $100 check in order to settle the bond on the Voss property, was unsure whether he could legally cash it. Emmons wanted to know from LeCato whether he ought to cash the check.
