Letter from N.J.W. LeCato to U.B. Quinby, 13 November 1882

Nathaniel J.W. LeCato wrote this letter to Upshur B. Quinby to accompany the deed of the "Benson" farm, which LeCato was sending to Accomack from Baltimore. LeCato is worried whether the transaction with Quinby's wife, Georgie, is legitimate since she is a married woman. He tells Quinby of his 1873 business failure and subsequent financial dealings with Henry B. Voss, an egg-dealer from New York City to whom LeCato had been indebted, and who committed suicide in 1874. These dealings have implications for the title of the "Benson" farm.
