December, 1910, was the coldest in a number of years, even colder than December, 1909, which was low. This following a cold November has given nearly two months of real wintry weather. It has, however, been mostly open and clear, with only one light snow.
The mean maximum of the thermometer was 44.32, the mean minimum 23.16; average for month 46.24. Highest 67, on the 30th, lowest 14, on the 17th; rainfall 3.77 inches. There were 19 clear days and 9 on which rain fell. The last 5 days were by far the mildest of the month.
For the year 1910 the average has been 58. The is nearly two degrees below the record for this locality, according to Mr. Moore. The rainfall amounted to 36 inches.
