October, 1910
The weather for October was ideal. There were 22 bright, clear days and only 6 cloudy ones, 3 partly cloudy. The maximum of the thermometer was 85, minimum 39; mean for month 63.47, which is above normal. There was a frost on the 31st, but it bit only the most tender vegetation. Last year there was a killing frost on the 20th. The rainfall for the month was 4.88 inches.
