March, 1913, in this section was unusually pleasant, free from destructive winds and waterspouts of other localities.

The lowest temperature was 23 on the 8th, highest 78 on the 21st, mean average 53.58.

The rainfall was 4.05 inches. The frosts did little damage. There was a sharp thunderstorm on the 31st, when lightning struck the home of Mr. John Church in Old Town Neck.
