June began very dry, but rain soon relieved the situation over most of this section, though coming too late for early Irish potatoes. The highest of the thermometer was 96 on the 12th, and lowest 50 on the 4th. Some hot days at last of month. Rain fall 4.67 inches. Rain fell on 11 days, mean average temperature for month 74.3
