April, 1913
This April was a month of changes. It opened with real summer temperature, changed to ice and frost on the 8th and 9th, which cut down strawberries. On the 21st, and 22nd, there were heavy frosts that cut off many Irish potatoes. Highest temperature 81, lowest 32, mean average 57.06. Rain fall 2.16 inches. Farmers began shipping cabbage on the 23rd.
