The month of April was unusually mild and pleasant. Much cloudy weather, but not extreme of heat or cold. The lowest temperature was 35, highest 84, mean average 59.24, which was 7 degrees above the average for April of last year.

There was rain fall on 12 days, the total precipitation being 2.98 inches.
