February 1911
The weather for February, 1911, was unusually mild, the mean average of the thermometer being 42.93. The highest was 70 and the lowest 26. Last year the mean temperature for the month was 41. There was 2.29 inches of rainfall. Rain fell on 11 days and there were 14 clear days. The thermometer was below freezing on 12 nights.
Truckers began planting Irish potatoes on the 15th. Some cabbage were planted during the month.
