Weather Report
May, 1911
The month of May, 1911, was unseasonably hot and dry during the latter half. There was a light frost on the 5th, but by the 10th it reached summer temperature and remained above the average. There was a good rain on the 8th, but from that to the end of the month only .11 of an inch fell. The highest temperature for the month was 94 on the 20th, the lowest 40 on the 5th; mean average 68.35. There was 20 clear days.
