September, 1912

The month of September was a continuation of summer up to the last day, the first 11 days being very hot. The highest of the thermometer was 94 on the 6th, and for 9 days it was 90. The lowest was 49, on the 30th. The mean average, 73.34, was a little above normal. The rain fall was 2.39 inches. The first half of the month was very dry and there was rain on 6 days only.
