A new banking institution has been launched at Townsend, a small village in the lower part of this county. The incorporators are Samuel Townsend, president; M. H. Stevenson, vice-president; J. W. Jones, cashier; J. G. Rodgers and I. J. Burbage. Capital stock, $5,000 to $50,000.
