Fields -- Livestock - Horses

Onancock, Va., July 27. -- Governor Swanson and wife, Senator Keyser and wife, Senator James M. Lee, Mr. Matthews, Mr. Rue, Mr. H. M. Tyler, Mr. Davis and Mr. Quinby, who had been to Chincoteague to witness the annual pony penning, came over to Onancock today. Their boat the "Commodore Maury," arrived at 8 a. m. and the party was at once driven to the residence of B. Lacy Hoge, pastor of the Baptist church, where they were entertained while here.

The Mayor and Council and a committee of citizens met the boat and drove with the Governor and party to Mr. Hoge's home where an informal reception was held. Refreshments were served, after which the party were driven back to the boat and immediately left for Tangier Island.
