Eastville, Va., January 8 -- The Northampton County Board of Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting here yesterday. A number of bills were passed and accounts settled. The Board took up the question of an appropriation to the Jamestown Exposition.

A phone message was however, received from the Accomac Board stating that they wanted a joint meeting with this county, so action was postponed until next Monday when the Accomack Board will meet here with that of Northampton. It is expected that the Eastern Shore will put up a very creditable exhibit. The managers of the Eastern Shore Produce Exchange will also join making a fine showing of Eastern Shore products. The fish, oysters and trucks of this section can form a very attractive exhibit indeed.

Work on the extension of the rail road from Bayview to the Cape has begun and will be pushed to completion.
