A correspondent of the Dispatch at Cobb's Island writes as follows:

The Richmond people who have been in the habit of frequenting the famous old Cobb's will be glad to hear that of the many enjoyable seasons this has been the most delightful.

The island is mostly filled with Richmond people, among them C. O'B. Cowardin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Otway Allen, Colonel John W. Gordon and family, Major N. V. Randolph and party, and others.

Sailing parties are in vogue, and the fishing is unusually fine this season. The most enjoyable feature of last week was a ten-pin party given by some of the young ladies of Richmond and the most amusing was a game of baseball played by the same and which was much applauded by the other guests.
