All the necessary accoutrement for maintaining a chain-gang in Accomac have arrived, and will be put in immediate use.

The contract for building a five thousand dollar club-house on Wallop's Island, which is soon to be converted in a first class Summer resort, has been awarded.

To prevent oyster grounds contiguous to Maryland from the predations of Maryland pirates, and according to an act of the last General Assembly, the sail vessels doing duty in Eastern Shore waters will be kept on duty during the entire year.
