Cobb's Island, Va., via Cape Charles, Va., June 31 -- Governor McKinney with Colonel Haskins and Colonel Atkins, members of his staff, leave tomorrow for Richmond. He has greatly improved in health and looks like a sturdy farmer. Though an up-countryman, he has been the most patient and successful fisherman here this year. He will leave infatuated with the island.

SWAMPED.

Mr. Ashley Jones's naptha yacht was swamped by the high tide last night and he will have to send to New York for a machinist.

RECORD BEATEN.

This season beats all other records as to the number of visitors here, sixty-four of whom are from Richmond.
