Farmers -- Farmers' organizationsFields -- Fertilizer

Onancock

One of the best known and prosperous farmers in this section . . . said that it was an impossible undertaking to get the farmer in Accomac to see their own interest, that they would not organize, and preferred to pay 25 per cnt. more for their fertilizers, etc., than to write and get their stuffs cheaper.
