It is authoritatively stated that in a short time a double track will be laid from Delmar to Cape Charles by the New York, Philadelphia and Norfolk Railroad. The business of the company is increasing rapidly.

Cobb's Island, that delightful Summer resort situated on the east coast of the lower part of Northampton county, has been fitted up handsomely and is now open for the season.
