Infrastructure -- Public : Fire companies

On Folly creek a farm-house belonging to John F. Coulbourne, of Onancock, and occupied by a tenant named East, was destroyed by fire to-day. A high wind was blowing at the time. The progress of the flames was so rapid that hardly any of the furniture and household effects could be saved. The total loss was about $1,000; insurance unknown.
