A Fight Between Two Women -- A Sharp Encounter.

Moral -- Other violent crimeWomen -- Personal injury

ONANCOCK, Va., June 13. -- A story of a lively nature comes from Hollies Baptist Church, seven miles from here. Several days ago two well known and respectable women met in the church, and one of them, a pretty brunette of about 25 years, who suspected that her husband was too intimate with the other, gave her a piece of her mind. In a moment the older woman struck the other a powerful blow on the jaw, and at the same time dexterously inserted one of her hands in the brunette's dark locks, giving them a pull that threatened to uproot them, scalp and all. Then the other woman, wild with rage and pain, proceeded to thump her opponent vigorously on the nose. By this time neither was as pretty as they had been. They were pulled apart with their faces scratched, bruised and bleeding. Both were prominent church members.
