The citizens of Accomac Courthouse deny the report recently published that John Lilliston has been whipped by White Caps. They deny that there is any organization of White Caps there.

A large ocean steamer grounded on the shoals of Metompkin beach Monday, the 18th instant. The Metompkin life-saving station crew speedily got her off by means of signals. Her name nor port is not known.
