Onancock.

Judge Gunter, of the Circuit Court, it is understood, will decide in a short while whether Mrs. Virginia Taylor, the woman convicted in Accomac County Court last March of having poisoned her husband and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for five years, shall serve her time or be liberated. It is the general opinion, however, that he will liberate her on the grounds that the verdict was not according to the law and evidence.

Young Jackson Kellam, who attempted to put an end to his life, as announced in this correspondence recently because the father of his 15-year-old inamorita would not allow him to visit her, is still living, but little hope of his recovery is entertained. He says if he recovers he will again shoot himself.
