Onancock.

The Eastern Shore Steamboat Company has received the contract for carrying the mail between Baltimore, Crisfield, and points on this peninsula from July 1, 1889, to June 30, 1893, at $3600 per year.

The Eastern Virginian, alias Onancock Times, will shortly be revived with Capt. H. L. Crockett, owner; Thomas Bull, editor; and H. A. W. Kellam, manager. The paper will be published weekly as an independent organ.

The contract for carrying the mail from Onancock to Finney's Wharf and numerous other points has been awarded to R. J. Parker, of this town, at $450 per year.
