Onancock.

The peculiar music of this beautiful village just now is heard in the click and clang and hammer of the oyster knife. Our bivalves were never better, but that they are getting scarcer and higher is undoubtedly true.

On the first of December our supervisors (we have not got used to these new-fangled times and notions yet) will meet to have a county levy; but we would rather have it done the old way.

The County School Board summoned on Friday next and will have a great deal of business to transact, as we have a large fund and are proud, I can tell you, Mr. LANDMARK, of our school system.
