The Damage at Hog Island Slight.

Cape Charles, Va., October 15.

A communication from Smith Island this morning stated that the damage by the recent storm at that place was slight. The water at high tide surrounded the life-saving station, and the beach was badly washed and several inlets were cut into the lowest portion of the island. The damage at Hog Island was slight.
