ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, September Term.

The following fiduciary accounts were confirmed, to-wit: Audits of the respective estates of Henry Mears, Sarah D. Mears, Cassandra Lewis and John R. Drummond; orphan accounts of Corianna and Viola Parker; trust accounts of Teackle Elliott and wife's and Elisha Bull's real estate.

The commissioner of accounts made report as to sufficiency, &c., of treasurer's bond, as required by law.

Henry R. Boggs qualified as administrator of James T. Rayfield, deceased.

Samuel J. Mumford, J. P., paid into court $2, a fine received of Wm. J. Taylor, for plying his vocation of barber on the Sabbath day.

John D. Wimbrough, J. P., paid into court $2.50, a fine received of Martin Chesser , for assaulting Lewis L. Lankford.

Order for the jailer to return James Connelly, a lunatic confined in jail, to the authorities of New York State, from whence he came.

Eastern Shore Steamboat Co., appellant, vs. George T. Gillespie, appellee; judgment affirming judgment of the justices in favor of appellee.

Upon petition of James E. Matthews, &c., for public road on Chincoteague Island; order establishing road and to open same.

Upon petition of O. H. Taylor, &c., for public road; opinion of board against road, and order dismissing petition.

John W. Kellam was appointed surveyor of road precinct No. 30, of Pungoteague District, vice Geo. B. Mason, resigned.

Orders in road and bridge matters on county treasurer were entered for James B. Sturgis, for $5; George B. Mason ,$7; and John D. Wimbrough and Gillet Chesser, $1 each.

Inquest over dead body of James A. Smith was returned and filed.

Bar room license was granted to John H. Marshall, at Marshall's Cross Roads.

Ex parte petition of Kate T. Finney's late guardian; report of L. Floyd Nock, filed. Order confirming report and removing cause from docket.

Ex parte petition of Thorogood Mason for a drain; application filed and order appointing commissioners.

Upon application of David D. Abbott, surveyor, to widen a road in his precinct; order appointing viewers to mark off road, &c.

Account of George E. Bull, constable, against the Commonwealth, was examined, allowed and certified.
