ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, January Term, 1897.

The estate of James Fox Sr., deceased, and Harry K. Fosque, colored deceased, were committed to John H. Wise, sheriff, for administration.

N. B. Wescott qualified as guardian of Joseph T. Rayfield, orphan of William Thos. Rayfield, deceased.

The last will of James Barnes of A. and Rachel Gaskins, deceased, were proved and ordered to be recorded.

The last will of Geo. W. Bull, deceased, was proved and ordered to be recorded. His executrix relinquished her right to qualify and Thos. W. Russell qualified as administrator with will annexed.

Asa T. Bundick was appointed and qualified as inspector of oysters for District No. 2.

The following accounts against the State in criminal cases, &c., were allowed: M. Oldham Jr., clerk, $5.80; Thomas G. Elliott, J.P., $8.50; Benj. T. Gunter Jr., attorney for the Commonwealth, $40; M. R. Doughty, special constable, $5.92.

The following fiduciary accounts were confirmed and ordered recorded: Audits of estates of Geo. S. Nock and Reuben Kellam, colored; orphan accounts of Ovenia Finney, colored; account of Robert Watson's committee; trust accounts of John U. Mason and wife, E. G. H. Bloxom and wife and John A. Brittingham.

Bowden Clayton vs. John E. Hickman (on warrant in detinue). Case tried and jury failed to agree and continued until first day of next term for new trial.

Ex parte: Petition of Lucinda Marshall's guardian (L. Floyd Nock). Petition filed and referred to commissioner for enquiry and report.

Geo. W. Barnes, administrator c.t.a., vs. Frank Barnes et als. Report of Blackstone & Bundick filed and order confirming same, and further order authorizing John A. Bundick to check out of Marine Bank the fund therein to the credit of the cause and thereout pay the costs and balance to Frank J. Barnes.

William Teague was discharged from jail to which he was sentenced from September 1st, 1896, having served out his term and being unable to pay fine and costs for which he was detained.

Ex parte: Petition of James G. Fox's administrator. Report of John A. Bundick filed and order confirming same.

John T. Powell's administrators and E. T. Powell, surviving partner, vs. Solomon Bayly (on attachment). Order consolidating causes, for collection of purchase money, payment of costs and distribution of balance ratably to the debts of the plaintiffs.

Geo. W. LeCato vs. T. T. Byrd (on attachment for rent). Report of constable filed and confirmed and case removed from the docket.

Mary E. Hopkins vs. E. P. Brown (on attachment for rent). Report of constable filed and confirmed and case removed from the docket.
