ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

August Term, 1886.

Ex parte; Petition of Wm. Wigton's guardian. Order for payment of costs of petition and for expending not exceeding $300 in ward's education.

Last will of Sarah Finney probated and Charles P. Finney qualified as executor.

Following fiduciary accounts confirmed, to wit: Audits of estates of Robert H. Miles, Hannibal Fletcher, Maria Mason, Alfred Hudson and Rose Ann Barnes; Orphan account's of Gabriella S. Mapp, Paul, John W., and Wm. C. Pitts, and Edwin J. Foote's trust account.

Last will of Susan T. Ward was partly proved.

Littleton F. Marshall qualified as administrator of Elizabeth Aydelotte, Jas. Henry Bayly as administrator of Thos. S. Bayly, and L. James Gunter as administrator of Robert S. Henderson, deceased.

Joseph S. Bull qualified as guardian of Mary E., Henry C., Benj. F., Alice M., Bessie L., and Blanche M. Bull, infant children of Benj. F. Bull; and L. Floyd Nock qualified as guardian of Sallie E. and Mary B. Walden, infant children of Franklin Walden.

Edward S. Wise was appointed and qualified as Supervisor of Pungoteague district to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Wm. E. Jacob.

An account of A. S. Taylor, J.P. against the Commonwealth for services in criminal cases was allowed and certified.

Order appointing commissioners to report necessity of ditching and rearranging precinct No. 25 of Atlantic district of which Thos. H. B. Corbin is surveyor.

The following surveyors of public roads resigned to wit: Henry L. Crockett, James H. Nelson and Augustus J. Parks.

The following were appointed surveyors of public roads, to wit: Sydney Hopkins, Ezekiel Baker, Winfield S. Byrd, William Northam, of E. and Noah Davis.

Orders for Augustus W. Johnson and James H. Grinnalds, surveyors of roads, to purchase materials and repair public bridges in their respective precincts.

Orders for County Treasurer in road and bridge matters were entered as follows, to wit: Wm. H. Marshall, $15.12; Jas. H. Nelson, $4; Lewis R. Lewis, $3; Henry K. Crockett, $14; J. H. Grinnalds, $4; Major Moore, $5; William T. Milliner, $5; Joseph S. Bull, $11; Nehemiah W. Nock, John L. Gillespie and Thorogood Mason, $2 each; Joseph R. Riggs, $1; Augustus J. Parks, $1; Jos. E. Brodwater, Thoro. Mason and Geo. W. Core, $2 each; Meshack M. Ling, $3; Wm. W. Ling, $8; Edward T. Ling, $15; T. H. Taylor, $10; and W. H. Pruitt, $8.

Petition of Major E. Selby and others, for public road. Report of viewers filed, order to open road, payment of costs and appointing Sol. T. Johnson a Commissioner to receive proposals.

Report of Commissioners re-arranging road precinct No. 22 of Metompkin District, filed and confirmed.

Petition of John Somers and others, for extending public road. Report of Commissioner Jos. R. Riggs filed. Bid of John Somers accepted, and said Commissioner directed to contract.

Order dismissing proceeding to shell and ditch public road from D. H. Johnson's gate to Hopkins Bros. & Co.'s road, and discharging rule against Wm. H. Lewis, surveyor.

Petition of Wm. L. Conant and others for public road. Report of viewers filed and cause continued.

Petition of interpleader filed by Belle S. Mears and Margaret F. Mapp and order to summon parties to litigate claims to goods and chattels levied on by Jos. C. Wescott, constable.

Petition of A. W. Rew and others for public road. Order excusing Stanley J. Lewis from serving as viewer and appointing Edward T. Parkes in place of.

Lambert Jester vs. H. Lapes on attachments, Jos. T. Kenney vs. same, on same. Order dismissing plaintiff's motion.

Geo. J. Northam and wife vs. Thos. Bundick of Geo T. on appeal. Motion entered by defendant to dismiss appeal for lack of jurisdiction overruled.

Petition of Fletcher Drummond and others for a public road from Parksley to Leemont. Order accepting for county, road opened and tendered by "Parksley Land and Improvement Company" upon conditions of its making bridges and culverts on its land, and P. W. Parks on his land.
