ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, Sepetmber Term, 1895.

A. S. Taylor, J.P., paid into court the following fines: $29 received of Charles Hargis, colored, $5 of Joshua Dennis, colored, and $10 of Henry Poulson, colored.

Accounts against Commonwealth in criminal matters and oyster cases were allowed as follows: To John F. Thorington, constable, $10.59; Wm. R. Drummond, guard, $23; Jos. C. Wescott, constable, $29.70; Alfred J. Lewis et als, commissioners in oysters, $188.29.

Wm. M. Taylor was appointed and qualified as Justice of Peace in Magisterial district of Pungoteague.

Following fiduciary accounts were confirmed: Charles H. Silverthorn and wife's trust account; orphan accounts of Ferdie L., Carson Ray, Sarah Frances and Daisey Nock Ward, Thomas H., John A. and Manly W. Window; audits of estates of John R. Bowdoin, Levin Parker and Louis S. Roberts.

Order entered, appointing commissioners, on petition of Wm. J. Scott and others, as to natural oyster rocks, &c., omitted from survey.

Order entered appointing commissioners, on petition of Thomas D. Scott and others, as to omission of natural rocks, &c., from survey.

Order entered, authorizing Wm. T. Core to assign his bar-room license at Point of Forks, in Lee district to James L. Savage.

Robert L. Ames qualified as administrator of John T. Turner, deceased.

Last will of Elizabeth S. Fletcher was proved and Thomas E. Fletcher qualified as executor.

Brittingham & Bros. vs. Abdell & Rayfield (on appeal). Judgment of Justice of Peace reversed and warrant dismissed.

Delaware, Maryland and Virginia R.R. Co. vs. Archie Jones (on appeal). Judgment of Justice of Peace affirmed.

R. D. L. Fletcher was appointed and qualified as committee of the estate of Wm. H. Drummond, a person of unsound mind.

Manie W. Johnson's estate was committed to John H. Wise, sheriff, for administration.

Sarah A. Ward resigned as guardian of Ferdie L., Carson R., Sarah F. and Daisey N. Ward, and Edwin T. Powell was appointed and qualified.

Silverius C. Hall executed a new bond as guardian of Henry Taylor, colored.

The commissioners made report in the matter of P. W. Bonnewell and others, as to omission of natural rocks, &c., from survey. The report was entered of record and order dismissing the petition and for recovery by Commonwealth out of petitioners of her costs about report.

In matter of petition of E. L. Crockett and others, as to omission of natural rocks, &c., from survey. The commissioners returned their report and the cause was continued until 2d day of next term.

Orders were entered, authorizing James R. Milliner to change his bar-room liquor license in Drummondtown to house of A. J. Lilliston near bar-room of Wm. E. Lewis to William Wharton and to assign said license to William Wharton.

Commonwealth vs. Wm. T. Ryan (on a rule). Continued until first day of next term.

J. A. M. Whealton & Co., vs. James Hudson (on attachment). Attachment returned to court, placed on docket and continued.

Mary A. Tignall's agent vs. John Sample (on attachment). Attachment returned to court, placed on docket and continued.

John W. Chandler, assignee, vs. John E. Brittingham (on attachment). Case heard and judgment for plaintiff for part of his claim.

Ex parte: Wm. H. Harmon's administrators. Order for payment of 1895 taxes, cost due and unpaid and balance to J. E. W. Figgs, acting guardian of Charlotte F., Annie L. and William H. Harmon.
