ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, November Term, 1903.

The following fiduciary accounts were confirmed and ordered to be recorded: Audits of estates of Benjamin T. Gunter, Bessie E. Gunter, William H. Miles, Raymond R. Hutchinson, James H. Hurst and Elizabeth Jane Mears; orphan accounts of John R. Rogers, Emma May Gilden, May B., Mason S. and Richard T. Byrd; trust accounts of W. A. Warrington and wife, James C. Doughty and wife.

Benjamin T. Gunter qualified as guardian of Bertie L., Arnold T., Herman W. and E. L. Scott.

A. S. West qualified as administrator of John Pitts, colored, deceased.

Last will and testament of Thomas A. Fox, deceased, was admitted to probate.

Commissioners of Revenue made report as to violations of revenue laws. None.

Upon petition of Sylvester H. Hope for a drain. Commissioners appointed.

The following officers qualified: Justice of the Peace -- L. F. J. Wilson and A. S. Taylor, of Atlantic district, S. R. Davis, W. C. Bunting and S. B. Dennis, of Islands district, George F. Parker, of Lee district, Jno D. Watts and Edward Wright, of Metompkin district, Jno. A. Mears, of Pungoteague district; Supervisors -- Wm. L. Nock, of Atlantic district, J. W. Wessells, of Metompkin district; Constables -- Tankard G. Kellam, of Lee district, N. S. Smith Jr., of Islands district; Overseers of poor -- Joseph R. Riggs, of Metompkin district, Edgar V. Twyford, of Islands district.

Upon petition of W. McK. Taylor for a public road. Order entered for opening of road and payment of costs.

Upon application of Louis F. Hinman for relief from erroneous assessment of taxes. Order exonerating applicant from payment of same.

A grand jury was empanelled and returned "true bills": Nine for selling liquor unlawfully, one for the larceny of oysters, one for maiming with intent to kill.

J. Lee Justis vs. N. Y. P. & N. R. R. Co., on removal warrant. Judgment for plaintiff.

License of George W. Drummond, to keep hotel at Belle Haven, assigned to Wm. O. Mapp.

Washington Russell released, no bill having been returned by grand jury against him.,

Commonwealth vs. Silas Young, alias Drummond, on indictment for felony. Defendant tried, and jury failing to agree, was bailed and case continued until fifth day of next term.

Upon petition of C. F. Bloxom and others for a public road. W. McK. Taylor appointed commissioner to see order of court enforced, requiring owners to remove enclosures.
