Raymond S. Stant qualified as administrator of Raymond R. Stant; Clara L. Custis as administratrix c.t.a. of Mary A. Custis, whose will was proved; and Anna B. Simmerman as administratrix of Hickman Spiller Simmerman, deceased.

Last will of Martha Snead Weaver, deceased, was proved.

Louis N. Whealton, now of New York, formerly of Chincoteague, qualified to practice law, in this court.

Inquest over Hob Drummond, colored, returned and filed.

James M. Birch was appointed and qualified as Justice of the Peace for magisterial district of the Islands.

The clerk made report of the fines reported to him by Justices of the Peace in June, 1899.

The sheriff made report of the number of prisoners in jail, their offences, sentences, &c.

Accounts against the Commonwealth in criminal cases were allowed as follows: To Geo. William Conner, constable, $4.20, and late sheriff and jailor $27.50.

Thos. F. Floyd vs. Seymour Thos. Joynes (on attachment for rent). Report of constable filed; order confirming and removing cause from docket.

Petition of Thos. R. Mears and others for a public road. Road approved and certified to Board of Supervisors.

Result of hog law election in Pungoteague district, July 27th, recorded, and petition for the election by E. T. Hayward Jr. and others removed from the docket.

Application for a drain, filed by Benjamin F. Young and others, and order appointing commissioners.

Equitable Manufacturing Co. vs. John L. Byrd (on appeal). Judgment below reversed, and judgment for the Company for a lesser sum, and for Byrd's costs in defence of appeal.

Order appointing John L. Byrd, trustee, in place of Elijah B. Kelly in deed from Geo. W. Byrd.

Ordinary (hotel) license granted to Lucius J. Kellam, agent for M. E. Kellam, "at Belle Haven" and retail liquor license to Upshur T. Bayly "at Pungoteague Branch".

Samuel W. Ames et als, appellants, vs. Samuel C. McGrath, appellee, (on appeal). Jury failed to agree and new trial ordered for first day of August term next.

Ann Belle Scarburgh's gdn. vs. Ann Belle Scarburgh (on petition). Order for payment of costs and for annual expenditure for ward.

Oaths of office of Town Sergeant and Town Clerk of Onancock, recorded.

Application of James T. Harrison for retail liquor license at Cashville, refused.

Petition of Board of Directors of Eastern Shore Agricultural Association for public road. Order to open road and for payment of land damage.

James H. Fletcher Jr., trustee, vs. James C. Rowles, wife and others (on petition). Order for payment of costs, distribution and deposit in Marine Bank.
