ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, December Term, 1901.

The last will and testament of Nancy Trehurne was admitted to probate.

Joseph R. Riggs and E. W. Wessells qualified as administrators of John R. Hinman, deceased.

Certificate of Joseph H. Jones as school trustee of Atlantic district was returned to court and filed.

Thomas E. Fletcher qualified as guardian of Catharine Hickman Simmerman.

Sheriff made report to the court number of prisoners in jail, their offences, sentences, &c.

Authority was granted to Thos. J. G. Heath and John J. Bradford to celebrate the rites of matrimony.

Delinquent land and property lists examined by court and approved.

Upon petition of L. O. Watson and others for a public road. Order entered on treasurer for $100 to complete road.

Last will and testament of Thomas C. Pitts, deceased, was proved and Spencer F. Rogers qualified as administrator with will annexed.

The following fiduciary accounts were proved and ordered to be recorded: Orphan accounts of Henry Olive Rue, Mabel B. McMath, Annie E. and Ida R. Courtney; guardian accounts of Lydia M. Miles; L. D. T. Quinby and wife's trust account.

Retail liquor license of O. D. Doughty transferred to another house at Wachapreague.

James H. Fletcher Jr. qualified as administrator with will annexed of Absolam Lewis, deceased.

Upon petition of George C. Watson and others for a public road. New viewers appointed.

William Parks vs. N. Y. P. & N. R. R. Co. -- on appeal from judgment of Justice of Peace. Dismissed.

Commonwealth vs. J. R. Bowden -- on appeal from judgment of Justice of the Peace -- upon a warrant charging said Bowden, with having stolen, taken and carried away 10 bushels of oysters from the private grounds of Wm. Walsh. Nolle prosequi entered.
