ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings at November Term, 1882 -- Judge Thos. C. Parramore, Presiding.

The following deeds were ordered to be recorded, to wit: From Geo. G. Fox and wife to Mitchell Scarborough et als., trustees for M. E. Church south, at Powellton; Thomas W. Bull and John W. Gillet, special commissioners, to Francis T. Boggs; same to Benj. W. Mears; same to Joseph H. Savage; and Horace S. Lane to Wm. D. Tunnell, trustee for John M. Fosque, Jr.

The following fiduciary accounts were confirmed: Jacob K. Byrd's audit; Lydia S. Walter's audit; Arthur Bradford's audit; Wm. S. Mister's audit; John H. Scott's audit; James R. Downing's audit; Elizabeth M. Floyd's trust account; Sally J. Russell's trust account; John W. White's trust account.

James D. White's will was proved and James A. Hall qualified as administrator of George Bloxom of J, dec'd.

George T. East qualified as administrator of Leroy G. East, dec'd.

John P. Fenwick's estate was committed to Sheriff.

Robert George was appointed and qualified as guardian of Ella E. Bayly.

Orders on the county treasurer, in road and bridge matters were entered as follows: for John Parkes of B., $4; Christopher Satchell, $47; Geo. W. Core, $9; John Somers, $5; John S. Davis, $20; H. A. W. Corbin, $12; S. D. Fletcher, $3; James Kelly, $2; L. W. Hinman, $1; Jacob Taylor $2; L. D. Lewis & Sons, $2.40; Zorobabel C. Mason, $3.60.

John Parkes of B. resigned as surveyor of road precinct No. 16 of Metompkin district, and Southey Mason Major appointed in place of.

Richard P. Read's bar room license at Hoffman's Wharf were ordered to be transferred to Smith J. Stringer.

Bar room liquor license were granted to Gillet F. Bunting, at Atlantic.

Further proceedings in "Outlawry" were had against the following defendants who are indicted for Felony and have escaped arrest, to wit; Wm. Lankford, Lewis White, Wm. M. Brodwater, Big Lewis, Geo. Washington (2 cases), Solomon Byrd, Beebe Gladding, Dawson Gladding, George Teackle, Levin J. Handy, Franklin M. Matthews and Frank Davis.

The Commonwealth vs. Noah Drummond, on an indictment for disturbing religious worship at Pocomoke Chapel; nolle prosequi entered, and rule awarded against Wm. S. Smith, Edward Churn and John H. Wessells, absent witnesses.

The Commonwealth vs. Wm. Bayly; defendant tried and convicted of disturbing religious worship at Pocomoke Chapel, and fined $25, and sentenced to thirty days in county jail.

The Commonwealth vs. Erastus J. Johnson and Oliver Townsend; defendants were tried and convicted of unlawfully hauling seine, and were fined $60 each and costs of prosecution.

Cassandra Lewis' will was proved, and Wm. R. Lewis qualified as administrator with will annexed.

Solomon Morrison vs. S. R. Johnson; judgment for plaintiff's claim in attachment mentioned, and order of sale of attached property.

Wm. R. Lewis qualified as administrator of Zachary T. Lewis, dec'd.

The Commonwealth vs. Tobias Bayly; defendant tried and convicted of carrying about his person a pistol, hid from common observation, and fined $25 and costs of prosecution.

The Commonwealth vs. Ezekiel Henry Killman; defendant arraigned upon indictment for taking oysters with dredgers, and was tried and acquitted.

John W. White vs. Thomas Phillips; an appeal from J. P., case continued.

Compensation to the following persons was paid into court into the hands of Wm. H. B. Custis, clerk, to-wit: Geo. W. Powell, $10; Mary R. Kelly and others, $10; Joseph G. Belote, $35; Thos. C. Pitts and wife, $120; John S. Martin $150; Joseph Thomas Bull and wife, $8; Susan A. Martin and another, $30; Lewis S. Beloate, $4; Wesley S. Phillips and others, $20; Oswald White and others, $3; Edward Thomas Ames and others, $60; Edgar F. Gillette and others, $12; Rachel J. Bradford and others $2; Robert S. Trower and others, $5; Wm. T. Massey, $1; John T. Jones, $24; James Henry West, $38; Sidney Hancock, $25; Nathaniel J. W. LeCato and others $8; being the amounts allowed for their lands to be taken by the Peninsula Railroad Co. for its purposes.

Rules were awarded against John W. Turlington, Augustus F. Wessels and Joseph Moore, for not attending as veniremen for the trial of Ezekiel Henry Killman.

Accounts of John J. Blackstone, treasurer, for payments to veniremen in felony cases, for $61 and $32, were examined and certified to Auditor of Public Accounts.

Ex parte petition of Margaret A. Scarburgh's execution, legacy to Gabriella Susan Mapp, infant, brought into court; order directing executor to pay costs of petition and to deposit residue of legacy in Marine Bank of Norfolk, Va., on interest account.

Richard W. Young was appointed and qualified as guardian of John H. Outten.

Account of Kate T. Finney, child of Andrew G. Finney, with Wm. S. Hope, her late guardian, was confirmed and ordered to be recorded.

The report of the commissioners in the following contested railroad cases were confirmed, to-wit: Sally E. Slocomb, Joseph G. Beloate (2 cases), John P. McMath, James H. Beloate, John S. Martin and James H. Beloate, and Elizabeth Ross. No appeals.

An order was entered appointing Thorogood Mason, Levin D. Lewis and Albert Gillespie, commissioners to examine public road leading to Pitts' wharf, and report what, if any repairs &c., are necessary.
