ACCOMAC COUNTY COURT.

Proceedings, August Term, 1895.

Last will of Thomas H. James was proved and Abel T. James and Alfred S. Kellam qualified as executors.

Last will of Elizabeth R. Hinman was proved and D. Frank White qualified as executor.

Last will of Sabra Conquest, colored, was proved and ordered to be recorded.

Wm. J. Matthews qualified as administrator, c.t.a., of Mary A. E. Johnson, deceased.

List of persons selected by the Judge to serve as grand jurors for the ensuing year were handed to the clerk and placed in the box.

Accounts against the Commonwealth, of Levi R. Boggs, for sitting on a commission of lunacy was examined by the court and allowed.

Following fiduciary accounts were allowed: Trust account of Stanley J. Lewis and others; audit of estates of Sallie R. Lewis, David Mason, Jno. T. Powell, Wm. H. Marshall, Peter M. Corbett and Wm. J. Daisey; orphan accounts of Bessie L., Blanche M., Stella V. and Alice M. Bull, Maggie S., Elizabeth H., Chillion M. and Ellen P. Byrd, Carroll C. Kellam, Clarence S. Kilmon, Wm. H., Annie L. and Charlotte F. Harmon.

Ambrose S. Taylor, J.P., paid into court $5 fine received of Jennie Justis, convicted before him of petit larceny.

Order entered appointing George W. Abdell trustee in deed from Isma W. Mears and wife, for the benefit of Selden C. Slater's executor, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of John J. Gunter.

Bar room liquor license was granted to George A. Brown at Pungoteague, and Wm. H. Gaskins, colored, at same place.

John W. Taylor, appellant, vs. Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad Co., appellee, (on appeal from judgment of Justice of the Peace). Verdict for appellant and judgment of Justice set aside and judgment entered for appellant for amount of claim and costs.

Brittingham & Brother, appellants, vs. Abdell & Rayfield, appellees. Continued on motion of the appellees and at their cost until the first day of next term.

Rule was awarded against W. T. Ryan for failing to appear as a witness on 2nd day of the term.

An account, amounting to $28.50, of Rebecca Joynes for nursing and guarding a female lunatic confined in jail was examined and allowed by the court.
